Canberra Paediatrics

Paediatrician MB ChB, B.Sc., FRACP

A graduate of the University of Otago Medical School, New Zealand. Claire’s love for Paediatrics began whilst working at Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital. In 2005, she moved to Sydney, where she completed her Paediatric Specialist Training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. During this time, she was fortunate to get fellowships in General Paediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, Epilepsy and have 12 months of Endocrinology training.

Claire has been a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2010.

In 2011, Claire and her family moved to Singapore. Claire worked at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Emergency Department, moving to a Private International Paediatric Clinic in 2014, where she built up a strong practice of International Patients, dealing with a wide range of Paediatric issues from failure to thrive, weight and height concerns to asthma, constipation and eczema.

At the start of 2017, Claire and her family returned to Australia to settle in Canberra, currently living just down the road from where her grandmother grew up.

Claire is experienced in the comprehensive assessment and management of paediatric medical issues, growth and development of infants, children and adolescents. She has extensive knowledge of local and international vaccination schedules & travel vaccinations, school medicals, and wellness child assessments. Claire or Canberra Paediatrics is now taking consultations out of the rooms at Yarralumla Surgery in Canberra.
